Terms of Use
The rules for using BipView. In plain English, no fine print.
Version 1.0 · in force since 1 September 2026
In one sentence: BipView shows what is yours, and nothing more. It reads your balances and history to show them to you, never moves anything, and the figures it presents are estimates — they are not an official statement nor a tax return.
1. Who we are and what this document is
BIPVIEW SISTEMAS LTDA, CNPJ 63.306.772/0001-76, with registered offices at Praça Monsenhor Emílio Lottermann, 40 — Moinhos de Vento, Porto Alegre/RS, CEP 90560-050.
These Terms govern the use of the BipView app and website. By creating an account, you agree to them. If you disagree with any point, do not create the account — and if you already did, you can close it at any time (section 11).
These Terms go together with the Privacy Policy, which explains what we do with your data.
2. What BipView is — and what it is not
BipView is a mirror: it brings together, in one place, what you hold on exchanges and wallets, and shows it in reais and in dollars.
BipView does not:
- does not buy, sell or swap anything for you;
- does not hold your coins — we are not a custodian, and we have no access to your funds;
- does not give investment advice. Nothing in the app is a recommendation to buy or sell, nor securities analysis;
- does not issue official documents for the tax authority or any other body.
We are a viewing tool. Decisions about your money remain yours.
3. Your account
To use BipView you need an account, created with a valid e-mail address. You are responsible for keeping your password secret and for everything that happens in your account.
The account is personal. Do not share it: whoever gets in sees all of your holdings.
If you notice misuse, write to contato@bipview.com and change your password.
4. What you connect to BipView
You choose what to connect, and there are two paths — both read-only:
- Exchange API key, read-only. Create the key with no withdrawal permission and no trading permission. We check this and warn you on screen if the key can withdraw. The key is stored encrypted.
- Public wallet address. It is the address you share to receive — it is already visible on the blockchain to anyone.
Never asked, never paste it: BipView never asks for your seed phrase or private key, on any screen or through any channel. If someone asks for it in our name, it is a scam.
By connecting a source, you declare that it is yours or that you are authorised to access it.
5. The figures you see are estimates
The values shown come from public sources and from the exchanges themselves, and are converted using market quotes. They are there for you to follow along, not to reconcile down to the cent.
The price of an old transaction is our own estimate, computed at the minute the operation took place. When we have no quote for an asset or a date, the screen says so — we do not invent a number in its place.
The official statement is your exchange's, and the truth of a transaction is what is on the blockchain. A discrepancy? The source wins, not us.
6. Tax: a mirror, not a return
BipView computes an estimate of your tax position to help you understand where you stand. It does not replace your accountant, it is not tax advice, and it is not your tax return.
The official return can be filed with Declare Cripto, our partner — and BipView receives a referral commission. We say it here because you have the right to know.
Responsibility for what is filed with the tax authority is yours.
7. Plans, billing and cancellation
BipView has a free plan and paid plans. What each one includes is described in the app, on the plans screen, before any charge.
When there is a subscription, it is billed through your device's store (Google Play or the App Store), under that store's billing and refund rules. Cancelling is done in the store itself, and it takes effect from the next cycle — the period already paid stays available until it ends.
If the price changes, we tell you before the change applies to you.
8. Availability and third-party sources
We work to keep the service up, but we do not promise uninterrupted operation: there is maintenance, network failure and, above all, dependence on third parties — exchanges, blockchain explorers and price sources.
When a source is down, the screen says so instead of faking a number. A reading that did not arrive is not a zero balance.
9. Acceptable use
By using BipView, you agree not to:
- connect third-party keys or addresses without authorisation;
- try to access another customer's data;
- automate access in ways that harm the service or the sources we query;
- use BipView for any unlawful activity.
We may suspend an account that does this, and we explain why when we do.
10. Intellectual property
The brand, the app, the website and what we produce are ours. Your data stays yours — we only process it to show it to you, as explained in the Privacy Policy.
11. Closing your account
You can delete your account at any time, from the app itself or from the page Delete your account. Deleting erases your data with us; it does not affect your coins, which were never with us.
We may close an account for breach of these Terms, or if we cease operating — and in that case we give notice in advance so you can export whatever you want.
12. Liability
BipView is a viewing tool. Decisions to buy, sell, file or move anything are yours, and so are their outcomes.
We are not liable for loss arising from: price movement in your assets; unavailability or error of an exchange, blockchain or price source; or a decision made on the basis of an estimate shown here.
Nothing in this section removes the liabilities that Brazilian law, in particular the Consumer Protection Code, does not allow to be removed.
13. Changes to these Terms
If we change anything material, we will notify you in the app or by email before the change takes effect. The date of the current version is always at the top of this page.
14. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. The courts of the consumer's domicile are chosen for anything that cannot be settled otherwise — and our preference is always to settle it by e-mail first.
15. Contact
